Running Immersive Shows

We strive for perfection in execution while acknowledging that challenges may arise, especially when running immersive shows throughout the UK. To address these challenges, we provide a portal that logs faults identifies patterns, and ensures prompt rectification. Additionally, we offer complete remote access to venues, enabling senior staff to log in and resolve system issues as they occur or shortly after.

We hold quarterly onsite meetings open to all company members to foster collaboration and continuous improvement. During these sessions, we discuss the shows, review how everything is running, identify potential improvements, and provide hands-on training on topics staff wish to learn more about.

For stability and high-quality show management, we employ a mix of full-time team members and part-time or freelance staff to handle peak periods, holidays, and absences. On larger productions, a senior technical manager will oversee the shows, while site-specific technical managers will manage the day-to-day operations of individual experiences. Technical Production Services (TPS) ensures that all aspects are meticulously maintained and managed, providing guests with an exceptional experience through dedicated support.

To uphold our high standards, we conduct weekly calls with venue management to align observations with our data and customer reviews. We also perform show watches to gather our insights. Internal meetings are held at least weekly to review past performances, plan for the upcoming week, and analyse show reports, reviews, and portal data to schedule maintenance and training.

We emphasise that our staff understands the importance of supporting venue management teams in charge of running the venue. Our goal is to work closely with venue management to create a cohesive, family-like atmosphere onsite despite the technical department being managed by us.

Our support extends to all team members company-wide, who can reach out to us at any time. We encourage cross-departmental shadowing to foster a deeper understanding of the various roles and challenges within the different teams. This holistic approach ensures a cohesive and well-informed team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for every guest.

At Technical Production Services, we dedicate significant time to working closely with you, ensuring we thoroughly understand your project, its specific requirements, any concerns you might have, the particulars of the venue, and the budget constraints. Throughout the design stages, we collaborate closely with all key stakeholders and monitor timelines to ensure consultations and planning applications are completed well in advance. We coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities and meticulously schedule rehearsals, programming, and testing from technical and operational perspectives to ensure smooth execution. Our proactive planning guarantees that soft opening and launch dates are realistic and achievable, paving the way for a successful event.

Production Installation

The installation process starts well before arriving on site. We carefully plan and schedule the ordering of equipment and materials to ensure everything is ready when needed, minimising site congestion. Control racks are pre-assembled and tested in our facilities to avoid issues from exposure to dirty environments, ensure they function correctly, and streamline the onsite timeline.

Onsite, we collaborate closely with contractors to adhere to timelines, adjusting as needed. Our deep understanding of the project allows us to handle changes effectively and work with teams to resolve issues. We offer full build teams, collaborate with existing contractors, and ensure compliance with CDM regulations through our qualified site managers. We update all drawing files and provide comprehensive as-built drawings and manuals upon completion to support seamless operation and long-term success.
