Dean
Project Manager
With over 25 years of senior event management experience, Dean has established himself as a seasoned professional in the events industry. Following the Covid pandemic, he dedicated four years to specialising in event transport logistics, further enhancing his expertise.
Dean is a self-motivated and driven individual, known for his ability to communicate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders. A stickler for detail, his leadership and organisational skills have consistently contributed to the success of numerous high-profile events across Europe and the UK.
Outside of work, Dean is a family man who enjoys fishing, playing golf, and passionately supports Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.
Archie
Technician
Archie joined the team before our last major installation and has proved to be an essential member. He is hardworking, really good at motivating team members and keeping morale up. Archie will talk with anyone and makes sure that everyone feels part of the team. He is qualified in Asbestos awareness, CDM and COSHH awareness, fire safety and RIDDOR, along with completing his Dante Level 1&2 certification, Archie is currently studying towards his Electrical Installations qualifications. In his spare time Archie can be found rebuilding or driving his project cars and walking his dog Luna.
Steve
Technical Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the events industry Steve has specialised in organising and managing all technical aspects of conferences and exhibitions. His role has involved producing detailed technical floor plans and overseeing various elements of event technology, which has taken him around the world. Steve possesses extensive knowledge of a wide range of equipment, including sound and lighting desks, projectors, switchers, and rigging systems. His strong understanding of electronic equipment allows him to safely maintain and repair equipment.
Steve is a football enthusiast with a season ticket for Brighton, which he enjoys with his son Jamie. He also loves mountain biking over the downs, going for walks, and spending quality time with his family.
Andy
Install Project Manager
Andy brings over 20 years of experience in managing all aspects of live events, including international events management, planning, AV management, production, stage management, logistics, sound, lighting, and video engineering.
He also has expertise in music and video production. With a keen passion for sound, Andy has toured globally with multiple artists and managed large-scale corporate events. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, DIY projects, camping, and watching Netflix.
Amanda
Business Coordinator
Amanda joined the TPS family in February this year and brings with her a wealth of administrative knowledge. Having gained a BA Hons degree in Hospitality Management, Amanda found that her skills were more organisational, and she has many years of experience as an administrator/business coordinator and PA.
She is the office backbone, looking after everything from the accounts and purchase orders to booking travel and accommodation. She brings with her a streamlined and systematic approach to her office tasks and can be relied upon to get the job done. She also keeps us all topped up with tea and coffee! When she is not at work Amanda can be found walking her dog Mungo, cooking and socialising with friends.
Andrew
Technical Director
Chesh has over 25 years of experience in technical design and management within the events and entertainment industries. Recently Chesh has focused on the immersive sector, handling everything from venue layouts and optimal space utilisation to technical system design, integration, and installation. In any spare time Chesh can be found helping his family with various projects or on his pitbike.
Jo
Director
Jo originally qualified in graphic design & Art and more recently H&S and site management. Jo has worked in the events industry for over 25 years with a break here and there for raising three amazing boys. Jo brings a calm approach and understanding to the pressures of live events. When not at work Jo can be found caring for her mum and volunteering for the local mental health wellbeing cafe that she helped set up, and looking after her 3 cats and dogs, Ash & Pixel.
Juan
Technical Manager
Juan has over 20 years of experience in live events, having graduated with honours in Sound Engineering and media studies in both Spain and the UK. Juan’s multifaceted work history has given him a wealth of experience in cinema, live events, theatre, and corporate events. Juan has toured within the UK and with various international productions, which has taken him to several parts of the world.
His problem-solving approach, vast experience, and knowledge of networking and programming, together with CAD, make Juan an invaluable team player. An avid dog-lover, Juan also enjoys travelling and discovering hidden gems in his spare time, having South African-inspired ‘braais’ (barbecues) with family and friends, watching movies, and studying for his pilot licence.
